Policies, Procedures, & Dress Code
TUITION INFORMATION 2008
TUITION IS BASED ON AN ANNUAL COURSE FEE THAT IS BROKEN INTO 3 PAYMENTS FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE.
PAYMENTS ARE DUE:
1st LESSON IN SEPTEMBER (September 8th – 13th)
1st LESSON IN DECEMBER (December 1 st – 6th)
1st LESSON IN MARCH (March 2nd – 7th)
ACCOUNTS NOT KEPT CURRENT AFTER THE SECOND WEEK INTO A SEMESTER WILL BE SUBJECT TO AN $8.00 LATE FEE.
TUITION IS NON-REFUNDABLE. STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO COMMIT FOR THE SEMESTER. THE ONLY EXCEPTION MAY BE FOR MEDICAL REASONS AND WITHDRAWAL REQUEST MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A DOCTORS NOTE. ANY PERSONAL HOLIDAYS, VACATIONS OR SICK DAYS MAY NOT BE DISCOUNTED FROM TUITION, HOWEVER, MAKE-UP LESSONS MAY BE ARRANGED IN A SIMILAR CLASS AT YOUR CONVENIENCE.

45 MINUTE/1HOUR CLASS $145.00 per semester
11/4 to 11/2 HOUR CLASS $153.00 per semester
10% Discount applied to immediate family members & multiple classes
(1st class at full rate, all additional classes discount applies)
ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE
$15.00 FOR RETURNING STUDENTS (non-refundable)
$20.00 FOR NEW STUDENTS (non-refundable)
HOLIDAY & VACATION SCHEDULE
OCTOBER 13th – COLUMBUS DAY
NOVEMBER 26th – 29th THANKSGIVING BREAK
DECEMBER 22nd THRU JANUARY 2ND – CHRISTMAS BREAK
FEBRUARY 16th – 21st – WINTER BREAK
APRIL 20th – 25th – SPRING BREAK
CLASSES BEGIN MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 8TH!
RECITAL DATE! SATURDAY, MAY 23rd
SNOW DAYS…Classes at Broadway Dance may not always be cancelled in the event of public school snow days as conditions often improve later in the day when most of our programs are beginning. In the cases of severe weather, please call our office at 978-640-0833 to check on class cancellations.
Make-Up Lessons:
All Courses are progressive with new material being built into previous class lessons, therefore students are encouraged to arrange make-up lessons with the office to catch up on material they may have missed. All classes must be made-up within 2 weeks or this option shall be forfeited.
Notices & Updates:
Our staff makes every effort to keep students and parents informed as to studio events, auditions, workshops, upcoming vacations and recital information through our bi-monthly newsletters which are sent home with all students. Please check with your child periodically for these updates.
Office Hours:
Our office manager, Elaine Conley is available to handle tuition payments, questions, concerns or problems Monday thru Thursday between 3:30 & 7:30 P.M. The teaching staff may not be interrupted at any time while class is in session, however will be happy to discuss your child's' progress by appointment.
Dress Code:
The Broadway Dance Academy enforces a dress code to promote uniformity and maintain a pleasant and professional classroom atmosphere. All hair must be pulled back. We do not permit cover-ups, bike pants, nylons, leg warmers, sweatpants, striped/patterned leotards, 2 piece outfits or skirts.
For Creative Mvt, Ballet/Tap Combination & Ballet Classes ** Black leotard - any style, however no pictures and no skirts. Pink or white tights. Pink ballet slippers with elastic across instep & white tap shoes with elastic across instep.
Tap/Jazz Combination, Tap & Jazz ** Black leotard, any style. Suntan stirrup tights. Jazz technique classes are conducted in bare feet, however jazz shoes may be required for the recital. Teen jazz students may wear black jazz pants at discretion of instructor. Black or white tap shoes.
Advanced Students ** Solid color camisole leotard will be permitted in advanced jazz & tap classes with suntan tights.
Hip-Hop ** Casual, comfortable clothing and sneakers.
